Let's just get this straight, recoveringpunker is an ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!

Doesn't he realize that we can talk about anything on this board? We are just SD fans making conversation and sharing what we enjoy and talking about recent news and such.

As for Mike, he isn't fat. If you think he is, then wipe the shit out of your eyes. Mike maybe getting a little out of shape, but he is not fat. I personally think that Social D will be around a long time after the album. As long as people will pay to see them, then they will stay together.

the person who started this is a bastard no questions asked

I never told anyone to go to HELL, but when a guy says that we can only talk about Social D then he has a few screws loose.

I've heard quite a few people say that Mike has gotten fat over the years. Most of those same people have known Mike since he was a hot young stud (thats an understatement) but those same people don't bother going to SD shows anymore, so they dont have much to form their opinion on except for the one recent publicity photo that's been everywhere, which lets face it, it's not the best photo. I feel bad for saying that....but the point I'm trying to get at is they dont really have anything else to form their opinions on. I've seen SD play 6 times this past year, and I have never noticed Mike looking fat once. I'm sure they'll be doing press shots for the new album, so hopefully that will bury the fat rumour once and for all.

God, I hope Mike can keep his shit together for a few more months and put out the album before disappearing. He might put on one final US tour or stick to the old "I need money" stand bye of playing the same set at the same venue 16 times. I hope he actually gets up the guts to go on the road and play some shows before calling it quits. SxDx is at the end of the road. Sorry guys.

I think Social D has a while to go yet or at the Mike Ness band. Ness has nothing better to do, and I don't think he wants a nine to five.

I have a picture from the Mike Ness tour back in '99 with his son onstage with him. It's a great picture too! So, when exactly did he sell out?? I know this topic came up before, and I'm still trying to figure out how bringing his son on stage makes him a sellout. What I get out of it is that he cares about the youth of today, and family values.
I dont believe that the band is ready to retire. But, if they were to put it to rest, Mike wouldn't necessarily have to work 9 to 5 with Black Kat Kustoms. I'm sure he is going to come and go as he pleases, with the music and the shop. I think he's also smart enough with his $$$ to know how to invest in things like a small business, stock, and Real Estate. He's no dummy.
